Slow Cooker Holiday Brisket

This delicious slow cooker brisket recipe is easy as pie! Wait- it’s actually much easier than pie. Just throw everything in the slow cooker and let the magic happen. Succulent, scrumptious, classic holiday brisket to please all the picky eaters and brisket aficionados.


INGREDIENTS (Serves 6-8)

4-lb brisket

2 cups Manischewitz Vegetable Broth

1/4 cup ketchup

10 shallots

2 carrots, chopped

Salt and pepper

1/2 teaspoon thyme

1 bay leaf

2 teaspoons paprika

8 cloves garlic

1/4 cup red wine


Add the brisket to a slow cooker and add the remaining ingredients on top. Try to make sure the ingredients are somewhat mixed.

Cook on low heat for 8 hours.

Remove the brisket and let it cool- this allows you to slice the brisket without it shredding. Slice the meat against the grain then place back in the slow cooker. Cook for about 30 minutes to reheat, then serve.
